Description of Work

TECO was engaged by the Makerere University Council to provide consultancy services for the design and construction supervision of the Food Technology and Business Incubation Centre at Makerere University, Kampala. The team comprised Structural & Civil Engineers and Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, working with associated firms Plan Systems Architects and DEC Consultants. Services included feasibility studies, business planning, brief development, preparation of outline proposals, scheme design and detailed designs, preparation of detailed working drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other bidding documents, and preparation of structural/civil and electro-mechanical drawings and supervision of construction.
