Description of Work

TECO was engaged by Mbarara University to provide project management covering design and construction supervision of the new main library block at Kihumuro Campus, Plot 8–18 Kabale Road, Mbarara. The team comprised an Architect, Structural & Civil Engineers, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Land Surveyor and ICT Specialist. Services included brief development, outline proposals, scheme design and detailed designs; detailed working drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other bidding documents; prequalification of contractors and bid analysis and recommendation for award; and contract supervision including preparation of interim certificates, instructions and details and Final Account.
