Description of Work

TECO was engaged by Makerere University to provide consultancy for the extension to the Main Library (Phases 1 & 2) at Makerere University, Kampala. The team comprised an Architect, Structural & Civil Engineers, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Land Surveyor and ICT Specialist, working with associated firm Kiwagama, Kiwanuka & Partners. Services included project management covering brief development, outline proposals, scheme design and detailed designs; detailed working drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other bidding documents; prequalification of contractors and bid analysis and recommendation for award; and contract supervision including preparation of interim certificates, instructions and details and Final Account.
