Description of Work

TECO was engaged by Mbarara University to provide project management of construction of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Faculty of Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Studies) at Kihumuro Campus, Plot 8–18 Kabale Road, Mbarara. The team comprised an Architect, Structural & Civil Engineers, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, Land Surveyor and ICT Specialist. Services included brief development, outline proposals, scheme design and detailed designs; detailed working drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other bidding documents; prequalification of contractors and bid analysis and recommendation for award; and contract supervision including preparation of interim certificates, instructions and details and Final Account.
